Precision concrete grinding for hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, tile, carpet, and moisture mitigation systems throughout Ventura County, Conejo Valley, Thousand Oaks, Westlake, Agoura Hills. Malibu, Calabasas, and surrounding communities.
Before new flooring can be installed, the concrete must often be properly prepared. Old adhesives, paint, sealers, curing compounds, uneven surfaces, and high spots can prevent flooring adhesives from bonding correctly and may lead to installation failures.
Professional concrete grinding creates a clean, properly profiled surface that helps ensure your new floor performs as intended for years to come.
Remove old flooring adhesive
Eliminate glue residue from carpet, vinyl, VCT, wood flooring, and tile.
Remove high spots
Flatten uneven concrete to meet flooring manufacturer requirements.
Prepare for moisture mitigation
Create the proper concrete profile before installing moisture control systems.
Prepare for self-leveling underlayment
Grinding helps ensure excellent adhesion before applying cement-based self-leveling products.
Improve flooring bond
Proper surface preparation reduces the risk of flooring failures.
Our grinding equipment uses HEPA vacuum systems to significantly reduce airborne dust during the grinding process.
Yes. Concrete grinding can remove many types of adhesive residue, coatings, and surface contaminants while preparing the slab for new flooring.
Grinding is effective for removing high spots and improving flatness. Areas that remain low after grinding may require self-leveling underlayment to achieve the flatness required for certain flooring products.
Grinding removes contaminants, improves adhesive bond, and prepares the concrete for moisture mitigation systems, self-leveling underlayments, and finished flooring.
Whether you're installing hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, tile, carpet, or a commercial flooring system, proper surface preparation is essential for long-term performance.
